We hebben een duidelijk oog voor de ruimte en haar gebruikers: uw woonkamer of keuken, winkel of restaurant. We ontwerpen en maken conventionele en onconventionele meubels om verrassende inrichtingen te creëren.

Design
Our designs relate interiors or spaces to people. In the proces of design practical use is of primary importance, both for the use of furniture and for the space where it is intended for. The space we live and work in have impact on the way feel, live and work. Hence, we regard the esthetics as part of functionality. Our design method aims to combine practical use and esthetics to reinforce each other.
Work
We design interiors and furniture, then build or manifacture them. Apart from that our workshop and craftsmen (and woman) are equipped to make various custom objects.
Durable
We work sustainable and local, at least in our home town: Amsterdam. We do work abroad, often in collaboration with local manufacturers andl materials. Our vision on sustainability is double headed. we work as much as possible with reclaimed or certified wood, but our goal is to make pieces that can last forever.
Tijgerhout installations
We design whole interiors, tables & chairs and objects. We are best known for our shelving installations and frameless display. these cupboards systems have little to do with conventional furniture, but they offer excellent storage and display, they tie your room together...
The way we work
Tijgerhout furniture plays with people and spaces. Therefore it is important to have a proper impression of spaces our work is intended for and its users.
Usually the proces of design starts with orientational talks at your place. On site we discuss the options, materials and prices.
Of course we can also work through different media, telephone and email. And you are most welcome at our workshop. But we look forward to be invited at your place.
